Non-unique accounts

Created on 7 May 2019, almost 6 years ago

If I use TFA on different environments having the same account name and website name (e.g. admin on www.domain.com and a.domain.com), the accounts cannot be discerned in Microsoft Authenticator using the QR code. The last one overwrites the previous.

Proposed solution: use the account name @.

(In Google Authenticator, the account can be changed afterwards, thus giving the opportunity to use a different account name).
