Bootstrap theme - Change the output of pagerer

Dear Mondrake,

The question might be completely irrelevant but after a few hours of searching online, I need your help :)

I find the module very useful, but I am not sure I can figure out how to change the HTML output of the pager.

As is, it displays the pagination as a responsive table (where I can definitely modify the CSS), but I would like to change the output to be as presented in the bootstrap manual (https://getbootstrap.com/docs/3.3/components/#pagination).

It seems that this happens inside the pagerer.module under function theme_pagerer (line 526).

Could you please advise me on what I should do to override it? write my own theme function to override the existing one?

I am working on a Bootstrap 3 ( https://www.drupal.org/project/bootstrap ) based custom theme.

Thanks a lot,
Nikolas
