Orders can stop at "Checkout: Payment" but without showing any "Payment" when they're viewed from the Administration pages.
We've been assuming that these orders never finished the actual process of being paid.
I prepared a test order, and took it as far as the "Payment" page of checkout. Then I went to a different page of the site (to make sure that the order did NOT complete any payment). The order still had the status of "Checkout: Payment."
However, I have seen payments in the PayPal account that match the totals of orders which have no Payment data. They match by date, time, email, and billing information, but the Payment data does not show in Drupal Commerce.
With no real way to tell whether a payment has been submitted, there's no way to know which orders are valid and which ones are not. This breaks our automated workflow of downloading orders in batches that are filtered by whether there is a valid payment line.
Is there any other way to track whether payment was received, other than manually checking all the orders?
