Date changed is being updated to current date

Created on 24 October 2018, over 5 years ago
Updated 6 April 2023, about 1 year ago

After migration:

  • A new revision for the content, so for every content the latest revision will carry the date of migration date
  • Regenerates all revisions. in this process the revision updated timestamps are all reset to the migration date. [in the case of the revisions there is no change to the created timestamp]

Both of the above do not meet the editorial business requirements. They want to be able to retain the old revisions and the updated dates. Also there must be no new revision that gets regenerated.

Not sure if there is some way of disabling new revisions from being created or having the old revisions from being updated.

what I did was not run the "clear" task. the clear command resaves the contents. I totally do not run the clear as the drupal uninstallation of workbench moderation clears out all columns and left over so no need run clear.
