I've written 2 patches for this module so far. See Fix NodeorderCrudTest → and hook_help needs updating to Drupal 8 → The test in the hook_help patch will pass once the Fix NodeorderCrudTest patch is applied to dev.
pager_query() hasn't been in the Drupal API since Drupal 6, but is in the NodeOrderManager. So I'll need to figure out how much of selectNodes() is actually working.
