Could we make the file folder configurable (public://synonyms)?
I am running into problems because I need to export the synonyms to a folder outside of the default public file folders. Normally I would just get around this by creating symbolic links. However, in my server setup it causes problems when I try to make Drupal write to a symlinked folder and it also creates problems when I try to make my search engine read synonyms symlinked to my Drupal installation.
