We are unable to translate Subscriptions field on Subscriber settings. The translation page shows the following warning:
The configuration objects have different language codes so they cannot be translated: field.field.simplenews_subscriber.simplenews_subscriber.subscriptions: en field.storage.simplenews_subscriber.subscriptions: und
To reproduce the issue just need to enable Configuration translation module and go to /admin/config/people/simplenews/settings/subscriber/fields/simplenews_subscriber.simplenews_subscriber.subscriptions/translate
