mimemail_compress is a fork of parts of Emogrifier, but it was removed in the Drupal 8 version of mimemail by this issue.
IMO if we need to recover the functionality of mimemail_compress we can just use the pelago/emogrifier package or the drupal.org/project/emogrifier module - there is no need to write our own version.
