Hook when synonyms file is updated

Would be nice to do this as an event.

I think this is OK for now, if we want to convert to an event in the future we can. Thanks for the contribution, seems to work as we'd expect.

I created a hook implementation in the main module file, with some logging and can see the hook firing as we would expect.
