I have Permissions by Term → (8.x-1.56) installed on my site (D 8.5.5). I installed Drupal 8 MegaMenu (8.x-1.1) today.
Before the installation, with content that has been restricted by Permissions by Term and "Provide a menu link" has been enabled for the main menu. The menu item was only visible to roles with access to the content.
Since installing MegaMenu all menu items are visible to all roles. When a role that does not have access to the content clicks on the menu link (which they can now see), "ACCESS DENIED You are not authorized to access this page." is displayed.
