Sometimes a redirect from <front> to a node alias is created

Hi,

Unfortunately I am still in the process trying to find out when this bug really appears. The project is multilingual, nodes are translated by entity translation. Global Redirect and Pathauto are installed. Sometimes when I edit a node in a French translation Redirect module creates a redirect from to the alias (by now I do not know if it is the new or old alias) of the French version of the node. This leads to the effect that when I try to reach the homepage in French language I am redirected to this node. It happened several times but at the moment I cannot reproduce this bug. It seems that specific circumstances may lead to this effect.

Did any one ever had this issue as well and may someone has an idea where in code this issue may be caused?
