I notice that dashboard was originally part of D8 core, then got removed.
When I try to install the current D8 dev version, I get the following error message:
"dashboard-8.x-1.x-dev.tar.gz does not contain any .info.yml files."
That is in fact true. The module contains a "dashboard.info" file but no YML.
And the module seems to be VERY old, judging by the .info file. Has the module been abandoned?
