When I enable the module, I get the errors described in: https://www.drupal.org/project/wbm2cm/issues/2939486 → . I am not sure if those errors cause the migration to run incorrectly, or if there is some other issue. Any idea if I could manually uninstall the Workbench Moderation module and install the Core Workflow module? None of my content needs to keep the migration history, could I just skip using this module and manually uninstall the Workbench Moderation module and install the Core Workflow module?

'moderation_state on entity type Content' the error is your probably node_field_data table has moderation_state columns. there needs to be some steps run to clean up columns or third-party dangling fields before you can uninstall workbench or install content moderation. please check comments 6, 7 at https://www.drupal.org/project/wbm2cm/issues/3042445#comment-14999909 🐛 Field moderation_state is unknown.
