The Drupal 7 module version is not supported. I am closing this issue.
Add this option as an action in views bulk operations.
Use case:
Multiple content types with a text_field tags, allowed unlimited.
Each content type can have different tags and tag amount.
with VBO select x nodes and only remove a specific tag without touching the other ones.
Now all tags are removed from the selected nodes.

Not all content is available!
It's likely this issue predates Contrib.social: some issue and comment data are missing.
