Confusing! New group, admin must complete their membership

First off: holy crap! This module is exactly what I hoped it would be. Bravo. I'm still just learning the basics (and very quickly, I might add, thanks to the intuitive nature of the module), but I figured if I already ran into something that was a pretty blatant "gotcha" to me as a fairly experienced Drupal site-builder, it was worth reporting...

On this particular issue, it took me a couple tries to figure out just what was going on here, but there are a few pain points I'm running into when I set up a new Group type, leave the checkbox for "Group creator must complete their membership" (which is on by default), and create a new Group of that type:

  1. When you create a new Group with this setting enabled, you have the title (plus any custom fields you may have added) and the URL alias to fill out. The second step is super-confusing because there is no indication of what it is exactly you are doing there. The page title still says "Add Group", and there is just a URL Alias field (unless, of course, you've configured the membership entity to have fields, but this is just a raw install of Group via simplytest.me). At first, I thought I was being presented with the same URL Alias field as in the first step, when I created the group; so I just put in the same alias again, thinking it was just a bug. So when I went to edit the new Group I had created, visiting the alias I had entered twice, I am actually presented with the Relationship entity, not the group itself! It really feels like something should be added to this second step to let the user know you're actually configuring/creating the group creator's membership!
  2. How is it that the same alias was allowed to be used twice? I would have thought this would be disallowed by the core Path module, but it seems not? I couldn't, at first, figure out why in the world (because of the above) I was being presented with a page titled "admin" when I visited my group's alias, but I had apparently used the same one twice; once when creating the group, another when filling out my membership.
