The API gives us opportunity to manage monitors using only API key.
1. Use the provided API key to create monitor for the domain on which installed the module.
2. Should be created two fields (checkbox and url) with conditions. When checkbox is unchecked will be shown required email field.
3. Should be implemented the next logic:
3.1. If checkbox is checked will be used domain on which accessible the site. For current domain will be created the uptimerobot monitor and used on site. When placing the site on another domain, a new monitor must be created and used. Before creating new monitor you need to check if monitor for this domain is exist.
3.2. If checkbox will be unchecked will be shown required url field for entering another domain (so user can provide another domain for monitoring).

I know that the thread is old, but for me now the issue of setting up API for monitoring the site's operation is very urgent.

I'm currently testing a third-party API from Host Tracker that I'm setting up with tech support. It should work great in theory, but I'm still in the setup phase, so I'll let you know later.
