Provide upload widget for media of media type file.

Hi!

I have set up an entity browser with a view that selects "media" entities (files). When i try to upload a file with the entity browser it doesnt allow me saying "the entity must be of type media" even though the view lists media entities and the entity browser is set to media. I have no problem selecting and choosing already existing media (that are uploaded via the media tab on the contents page) but uploading new files via the browser does not work and gives me the error..

I have no problems uploading images with another entity browser that has widget set to "upload images as media items". Why does "files/documents" dont have a similar option? it seems like it should? is this just a bug with this module or lacking functionality?
