This Synonyms service method
->getEntitySynonyms($entity)can help you to implement Glossify + Synonyms integration.
Glossify provides a text filter that will search through the content for glossary terms and convert those term names into links (or tooltips) to the term's page.
I would like Glossify to be able to also find the synonyms of a term and turn those synonyms into a link/tooltip for the term of which they're a synonym.
Example: if I have a term called "Content Management System" and with a synonym of "CMS" then I want Glossify to recognize CMS and turn it into a link to Content Management System's term page.
Glossify has a hook for altering the list of terms, but I'm not sure if this hook would be useful for this.
Would the correct approach be to develop a Synonyms "behavior" for Glossify?
