PDOException: SQLSTATE[22001]: String data, right truncated

Hello,

I'm once again getting this error:

PDOException: SQLSTATE[22001]: String data, right truncated: 1406 [error]
Data too long for column 'uri'at row 645 in
/srv/bindings/98c299718e8d4fb29785d0569997f4d5/code/includes/database/database.inc:2227
DatabaseConnection->query('INSERT INTO {s3...', Array, Array)

I had this issue around 10 months ago and had to "fix" it by reducing the length of some filenames > 250 chars and recreating the bucket. That basically took my site offline for 3 days and was a tremendous amount of work. I am currently using version 7.x-2.6. Is there any other way that I can get this resolved other than recreating the bucket again? Would upgrading to the newest version of S3 help this is any way? We just can't afford to take our site offline for that long again. Thank you very much for your help.
