Edit the field which have field type as "link". [admin/structure/types/manage/(content-type)/fields/(any-link-field)].
Under "Link Clicks Count Configuration" section - select "Save the clicks happened on this link."
I don't see the option in my installation of link_click_count, i even installed the dev version too
