Currently, the DFN filter only used the contents of the DFN element. It could be useful to have additional attributes be available. More specifically: one could wish to have a A HREF value not matchin the DFN content for people names:
Linux, créé par <dfn target="Torvalds, Linus">Linus Torvalds</dfn>.
This raises an issue of DFN no longer matching the XHTML DTD. Nodes using this filter would no longer be valid XHTML fragments.
