Future of Rijksvideo, Drupal 8

I like to discuss the future of this module in Drupal8.

Proposed changes

  • HTML5 (enhanced) player, fallback to js/flash
  • Free, open source player
  • XML handling for both rijksvideo services
  • Video services as plugins

Possible approaches

  • Like now, seperate module with one purpose, no bloat
  • As a video-provider plugin for another video-embedding module like videojs
