Clear instructions for columns output

Hi,

I've struggling for monthes for making Views PDF output columns.

I was about to make it work with the "PDF Grid" display supplied by vegansupreme ( https://www.drupal.org/node/2505223 → ) but faced a major bug with page break... so I gave up this customized version of Views PDF.

I have reinstalled release 7.1.4 and I am now trying to build a 3 columns output (I have around 8 different PDF displays to build for a customer)... and need clear instructions about how to to that.

My questions are :

1. Should I rewrite all the fields to a single field ?
2. Should I use version 7.1.4 or another one ?
3. Is there any documentation about how to do that ?
