As requested, here is a request for the ability to export Animal Records to .pdf or .xls format. It would be nice to be able to export selected data for an animal to generate a compiled page of info that then could be printed to file or paper. This would be really handy in being able to quickly compile an overview of the animal's movements, immunizations/vaccinations, picture and pedigree for example. Even something that could generate a report page that then gives you the option to export or print.
Look forward to seeing what you think is possible with this idea.

Cleaning up old issues. I'm going to close this as "outdated" for now, but would love to see a general purpose solution to this in farmOS! I need to do some very specific PDF export in a custom farmOS instance in the near future, so if anything generalizable comes out of that I may report back here or reopen this. Otherwise, it may be a case-by-case kind of feature, in which case I welcome PRs!
