We're hitting the rate limit on API requests using this module (seems to run a lot on cron - not specific to this module, but I think cron clears a lot of input filter caches), so I added support for authenticated requests to the API. There's an optional global settings form and permission for the module now. You can add your GitHub credentials and go from requests limited at 60/hour to 5,000/hr.
