When */edit is excluded the images don't appear in the overlay/modal

I have disabled lazyload in node/*/edit
but the no script tag is seen with images that open in a ctools modal and manual crop overlay.

In my case i use manual crop to crop images and entity reference view widget to add referenced users from a view that opens in a ctools modal.

When node/*/edit is excluded the images don't appear in the overlay/modal and no script tag is still added.
