User Relationship views expose comments

The view provided at user/%1/relationships includes the comments. In the popup form used to request a relationship the requestor naturally assumes these comments are private and a type of private msg to the requestee. Displaying these nominally "private" messages may expose comments to others that were never intended to be made public.

Any suggestions on how to hide these comments welcome. Ideally this would be an admin ui and/or views config option.
