As the module name "customfilter", is only works for filter. So modify data and save it to database shoud be implemented custom or other module.
The module works great for displaying texts with modified patterns, however when going to Edit mode the original pattern is still there. I wonder if this module can be extended with an option to actually write changes in the text to database? If not maybe there is another module that can replace given patterns and actually write changes to the node body?
