If I upload an image via the media browser, it can't be manually resized.
Steps to reproduce:
1) activate Media module
2) install Wysiwyg and TinyMCE and configure to allow media browser in the rich-text toolbar in an input format e.g. full HTML
3) edit/create a node or block
4) click media browser icon
5) click "upload" and upload an image
6) pick any size format e.g. original, large, preview etc
7) manually resize the image using any of these methods:
a) grab a corner and stretch/shrink
b) edit the html and manually change either of the width/height dimensions within the media "attributes" code
c) use the TinyMCE "image" icon to change the dimensions
8) the image has now been resized *in edit mode* to whatever you changed it to
9) save the block/node
10) the image is the same size as it was when you originally uploaded it
