Does anyone have advice on how to automate billing for ads?
I'd like to charge advertisers for posting ads and automate it so that they pay a minimum amount and that gets them a set amount of views and clicks of their ads. When their limit runs out, they are automatically emailed and if they pay more, their ads (all the active ads they own) get automatically re-activated.
So I want to set:
- minimum amount to pre-pay
- value of a view, value of a click.
I was trying to avoid using the ecommerce module on my site....but I suppose I do need it for this...I just find the ecommerce module very expensive and I only plan on selling advertising at this point
