An update, just in case somebody looking for importing MS Word into a Drupal node lands here:

HTML2Book → doesn't to any of the cleaning up required to import HTML produced by MS Word into Drupal, and is for that reason not a replacement for this module. In addition, it is no longer being developed and there will be no version for Drupal 8 and later.
