I've setup a menu, made it "current interface language" and assigned an article with two translations. In both translations I've asked to Parent item in that menu with say... "About us". Then went to translate the article to a new language, and asked to Parten item into the same menu with "Über Uns".
When I go check the website, the menu has both entries, even thou the website may be accessed with /en or /de
To replicate: install d8.x-dev from 26 or 27 Mars 2014 :)
