Search block doesn't seem to recognize keyword; Results per language still doesn't seem to work

I have one custom search block in the site's footer (managed with the core's blocks) and another one on a single page (managed with panels) in use. A third one is displayed automatically on mydomain/search/content.

Because of the problem described in https://drupal.org/node/1793802 I decided to try out the latest dev version. So I did.

Now the language problem is still not solved. But in addition there is another problem since I'm using the dev version: Both of the custom search blocks don't seem to recognize the keyword that I have typed in before pushing the submit button. The search results page doesn't show any results, not even the message for no results found. Only the empty search form (without my keyword within) is displayed. In the URL is no keyword to see: mydomain/search/content instead of mydomain/search/content/mykeyword.

The only search form that is working is the one on mydomain/search/content. If I type in my keyword, the search is doing its job. But there is still the problem, that the language configuration ( current language and neutral) is not recognized.
