Custom report

I want to create a page for the editors of the site where they can view and create redirects. The problems I've got are:

1) Creating a view, the type field just outputs 'redirect' and not the type e.g. 301
2) How can I limit the view to a set of flags. All article redirects are displayed. Is it possible to flag or add a custom field to reidrects?
