Make it possible to rent small blocks of time in a room on an hourly and/or multi-hour basis

I manage rehearsal rooms that rent out hourly and would love to be able to use this module to manage bookings. But I need to be able to book hourly slots in multiple rooms rather than whole days. I also need to be able to create blocks of time and give them different rates depending on time of day, day of week. Is this something that could be built in to the current module?
