Custom Search not finding the related content in taxonomy

First of all, hello and thank you for providing all this data.

I'm having an issue regarding the taxonomy dropdown selector:

I've set up a block with the search field and the dropdown list with my taxonomy tree with a depth of 2.

When i enter a serch key (taxi) and hit submit on the root level, everything works fine.

And it displays me a page with all the results as expected, but when i try to use the dropdown list specifying depth 1 or 2 from my taxonomy tree, i get no results at all.

I fetched the query and saw that it wasn't searching for anything in the taxonomy tables.

Then i tried to use a custom path to see if it changes anything and i managed to access the level 1 depth by using: mywebsite/?q=search/node/[key]/[terms]

But i still cant access level 2.

Any idea of what is happening?
