Add ability to link field to content

I would like the ability to link the field to it's original content. Another checkbox under the field formatter settings would be helpful.

    Using Drupal 10.1.2 I had page title in views block using 'Plain text' Formatter and there was a button for 'Link to the Content' which links the page title to the content.

    I changed the Formatter to Smart Trim and the page titles lost the links and I can't find any button similar to 'Link to the Content'.

    I am thinking this issue was to fix this.
