Taxonomy tokens doesn't processed by taxonomy triggers

I want to get an e-mail notifications when taxonomy terms are added, changed or deleted. So I created a new complex action "Send e-mail...", added some taxonomy tokens ([term:name], [term:tid], [term:vocabulary]) to the message body, and then assigned this action to the taxonomy triggers for adding, changing and deleting of taxonomy terms.

But when I received these e-mail notifications, I saw that all taxonomy related token in the message was unprocessed, while all other tokens (for user or node, for example) was processed. And it's a really big disappointment. By the way, the same taxonomy tokens works like a charm in the node triggers.

I think, non-working taxonomy tokens in the taxonomy triggers is a obvious bug/fault.

Given that Drupal 7 has reached its end of life → , this issue should be closed.

Please upgrade to a supported version and feel free to reopen the issue on the new version if applicable.

This may be worth investigating for newer versions of Drupal, but it should be done as a new ticket for D11+.
