Since we added multi-entity support in commit cc22eb3673b2a1925a85e9701de47b89e04d7b2f we have been managing a list of indexed bundels rather than excluded bundles. This inverts the logic from 6.x-1.x, and makes the module much less usable since a new node type is not indexed by defaul.
I think this is a bug - we should invert the SQL logic and bring the UI back into alignment with the 6.x-1.x one.
