Passing query results to another block

Hi,

I have a GMap Location exposed view. Currently, when searching for locations it zones in on the postal/zip code used for the search terms. I would like to know how I can get the results from the query on the exposed view to be passed to another block or listed in another region on the same page.

Is it possible to pass views results from one block to another- possibly using ajax?

If this isn't the right place to ask, where should I post this question?
