We could potentially provide a plugin which derives from Values module.
It would be nice if users could create their own lists, which could be exported via features. Also if the current pre-defined list options included with the module were provided as exported defaults. I'm not sure how possible this would be given that each list needs a unique callback but it's worth investigating.
