I'd like to get rid of "Anonymous" in autocomplete user lists. Back in 2009 in

the recommended way was to hook_form_alter() the form and write a custom autocomplete function. I wonder if this is still the only way. If so, any chance of a new feature that makes it possible to exclude uid=0?
