Notice: Undefined index: new_role in uc_roles_user_presave()

I am getting the following two notices when I create a new user account. The account I created manually was using the same role that I have configured to be used as a UC role assignment.

Notice: Undefined index: new_role in uc_roles_user_presave() (line 413 of /Volumes/WORK/paul/drupal-7/drupal/sites/all/modules/ubercart/uc_roles/uc_roles.module).
Notice: Undefined index: table in uc_roles_user_presave() (line 425 of /Volumes/WORK/paul/drupal-7/drupal/sites/all/modules/ubercart/uc_roles/uc_roles.module).

There seems to be a LOT of these kicking round in UC.
