You can try to debug the cause at vapn.module file in vapn_node_access function. The vapn configs should only apply to a node that have vapn configurations. Do you see access denied page when trying to access any of the problematic nodes?

Also note that when configuring the access, using "authenticated" basically mean any authenticated user no matter the role can view the content so combining "content-manager", "drupal-team" with "authenticated" most likely doesn't provide you the access restrictions you are looking for.
