Hi Jürgen,
Thanks to your explanation on Danse about roles, I feel I am close to completion regarding the implementation of a subscription / notification solution in Drupal 11 with Danse and Push Framework, which could deliver similar features as the solution I implemented a long time ago in Drupal 7 (using subscriptions module).
Danse
I created a "notifications" role.
I bypassed the problem of notification that are not cleared for the « author » of a content creation / modification. I do not use the notification counter « display » (the block), nor the « seen » indicator (which I have removed from the danse_user_notifications View).
I made several tests, I checked the Danse events log. All was consistent.
So everything seems OK for me with Danse.
Push Framework.
The next step was to send notifications through the « e-mail channel ».
I installed Push Framework + Push Framework Email (mailsystem 8.x-4.5 module is also installed, if it has any importance).
I configured Push Framework. In the general tab, I left options as programmed by default. In the e-mail tab I selected the two options (activate email, Use default settings for content).
I ran cron several time as it seems that queues are not created immediately after configuration.
In Queues configuration I checked that the Push Framework queue was implemented. Everything seemed OK.
I also checked the « jobs in the queue ». All Danse events have triggered a job in the Push Framework queue. All jobs were tagged as « successful » in the Queue.
All seemed OK, but no notification e-mail has been received (and no trace of “e-mail sent” in system logs).
I notice a point in the Push Framework Configuration. In the “general tab” the item Channel Order is empty. Looking at examples on Drupal site (https://sebastix.nl/blog/static/8cd5f338155248c145660f24399e2745/5fc9a/S...) I noticed that it was indicated Channel Order “Email 1”.
Have I missed something ?
What could be the reasons why no e-mail is sent.
Thanks for your support and advice.
